I grew up in Valparaiso, IN.
I would describe it as a rural suburb of Chicago that has access to the shores of Lake Michigan.
I would say what influenced me the most would be my friends, family and quick access to Chicago.

I attended Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) where I received my degree in Journalism from Indiana University.
I wrote for the Campus Citizen (The school paper).
