I grew up in Nicholasville, Kentucky (10 minutes outside of Lexington). Thankfully, there is a song that is written about my hometown that describes it perfectly. John Michael Montgomery is from Nicholasville, and his son Walker Montgomery wrote “Simple Town” about it. Growing up I was mainly influenced by my family who I spent most days with. We all lived less than 5 minutes away from one another.
For my Undergraduate degree I studied at the University of the Cumberlands and got my bachelor’s degree in business administration. I graduated with my MBA from the University of Kentucky. Go cats!
