Thadis Pegues

Account Manager - Houston, TX.

I grew up on the southeast side of Houston towards Galveston. I think my area was a little unique because so many kids I knew in the neighborhood went to different schools, but we lived just one block away in any direction. I think the most important thing I learned as a young adult was to be honest as possible no matter what the consequences may be.

I attended a small private school in Houston called Rice University where I studied Visual Arts. I played football for Rice University from 2001 to 2006

In my free time I enjoy listening to audio books, playing flag football, and hanging out with family. I gained interest in reading when one of my professors mentioned, “anything that you have experienced in your life, someone has gone though that same experience and wrote about it.”

My current goal for playing flag football with my team is to win a state tournament again.

The first place I volunteered my time was for Friends of Texas Wildlife. We took a trip to Galveston to plant trees. The reason why this opportunity was interesting to me was because the students we took planted trees next to the trees that were planted in previous year, so they can see the transition and how they were building the forest.

It affected the community positively because students could take ownership over cleaning and maintaining their own environment.

Before Inceed I was a Commercial Photography teacher and Recruiting Coordinator for a small school district north of Houston. My goal was to make an impact in the world by guiding young adults to successful decision making.

One of the struggles I had to overcome was convincing parents that I had their student athletes’ best interest at heart when making a decision. The reason I started considering other options was because I developed the desire to be compensated for the extra time and work I was committing to each goal. I work hard for other people and genuinely care about their outcome.

I knew I was ready for a transition after meeting the people here at Inceed. While meeting everyone in the company I felt like I was speaking to long lost friends. Each conversation was relaxed and most importantly honest.
