I was raised in town called Eureka, MO about 40 minutes from downtown St. Louis. Eureka is considered a small town by St. Louis standards (about 12,000 people), with our most notable attraction being Six Flags St. Louis. The greatest lesson I learned throughout my childhood was “where there’s a will, there’s a way”. This taught me the importance of maintaining an open mindset, without negating the hard work it would take to achieve a difficult outcome!
In 2019, I graduated from Truman State University with a BS in Health Sciences (minors in Disability Studies and Psychology). While a student, I was an active member of Tau Lambda Sigma, a service sorority local to Truman State! The organization allowed me to volunteer with a variety of organizations in Kirksville, MO, including Special Olympics, Adair County Humane Society, and local elementary schools.
