I grew up in Castle Rock, Colorado, but a lot of my relatives live in Oklahoma and Texas. My hometown of Castle Rock is a city that’s growing bigger and bigger every day. I am so grateful to have been able to grow up there. It is a beautiful kind of place where snow days come out of nowhere, and mountains are almost everywhere you look. One of the greatest lessons I learned from my childhood growing up there was that I was a lucky girl to have been raised in a place that special.
When it came time to graduate high school and go to college, I would’ve never pictured myself at Oklahoma State, but oh, it was the best decision of my life. Go Pokes! I studied Human Resource Management and was a member of Phi Mu sorority. I was also the secretary of the Human Resource Management Association. I learned so much about myself in college and had the best four years I could’ve asked for!
