I was born in Guymon, Oklahoma, and after a few years, my family moved to Stillwater while my dad finished college at Oklahoma State University. Go Pokes!
After he graduated, we moved to Dallas, Texas, and eventually made our way to Parker, Colorado, where I graduated from high school. From there, I headed to Hastings College in Nebraska, where I played football for four years and earned my degree in Criminal Justice. Apparently, I enjoyed tackling people enough that I decided to turn it into a college experience.
After college, I moved back to Colorado and accepted my first job as a police officer with the City of Westminster. I spent about 10 years there before moving to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, where I worked as an agent.
During my law enforcement career, I became a dad to three amazing children. They are my biggest motivation and the reason behind many of the decisions I make. Eventually, I realized it was time for a career change that would allow me to spend more time with them, and preferably attend fewer events involving Police cars.
That decision led me to make a big change and join Inceed!
