Los Angeles, California is the place I called home for 22 years. I grew up in a town called Santa Clarita Valley, also known as the town Six Flags is in. My hometown is a great place to grow up as it is a quick drive to downtown, the beach, and a ton of local attractions that bring tourists out to LA. A lesson I learned early on in life is to never take people for granted and to cherish the little things in life. My college experience has been far from normal. In the middle of my college career, my mother passed away from a terminal illness. This caused me to drop out about halfway through my associate’s degree. I am close to completing my Criminal Justice degree and hope to have my bachelor’s degree in the next couple years. While I was enrolled, I took part in a yoga club and HIIT fitness club. Physical activity has always been a passion of mine and something I always try to implement in my day to day.
