I’m a Midwest gal through and through. I grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, where cornfields were basically your backyard and the city was just a train ride away. I loved growing up with the best of both worlds, from Cubs games and North Avenue Beach to wandering Wrigleyville and eating way too much Portillo’s and Chicago pizza. No regrets.
With three brothers and every outdoor sport imaginable, I learned grit early. Volleyball, great coaches, a competitive family, and a home that taught me you work hard for what you want all shaped who I am today.
The Midwest will always feel like home in my bones. I love its people, lakes, fields, and especially that combination of hard work, community, and genuine kindness.
Now I call Nashville home, and I think that’s part of why I love it here so much. Nashville has that same big city, little town feel I’ve always been drawn to. There’s energy, opportunity, and growth, but people still make time to know each other, show up, and make you feel welcome!
