I grew up in Ponca City, OK. Ponca is a really great place to grow up. It is a small town in North Central Oklahoma and my family has been there several generations.
Growing up I competed in rodeos and horse shows all over Oklahoma and surrounding states, so I got to travel quite a bit as a kid into high school before I went to college. Living in that world of horses and rodeos taught me a lot about how to take care of, not only myself, but those around me, including my horses.
This also taught me a lot about hard work and how it is a vital accomplice to being successful no matter what avenue you are on in life or what you are trying to accomplish. In short, my family instilled in me the sentiment of work ethic that has carried over into all aspects of what I do.
After high school, I went to college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. OSU is only about 45 minutes away from where I grew up, so it was almost like I was at home.
I started out school as a Finance major but quickly changed to Management with a minor in Marketing when I found out that majoring in Finance was nothing like the Wolf of Wall Street movie.
In college, I participated in a small business fraternity group called Delta Sigma Pi for a few semesters but it ended up being too much on top of my classes and part-time jobs so that was short lived.
So now, here we are.
