Josh Viar

Account Manager - Tulsa, OK.

I grew up in Lamar, Colorado. I was really involved in football and that’s something that taught me some of my greatest lessons. You learn to be tough, to not make excuses, to take ownership of your own actions.

I went to Colorado State University Pueblo, and I studied Economics and Finance.

I want to travel extensively. I definitely want to visit every continent. I think it gives you a different perspective.

I’ve been to South America, Central America, and up to Alaska. It just makes you look at everything differently. It makes you appreciate what you have. It’s great.

When I’m not working, I like to spend time in the outdoors whether it’s hiking, hunting, or fishing. I love it.

As a kid, my dad would take me hunting a lot. Now, I just want to go a lot of different places and see a lot of different things. Different geography and whatnot.

Alaska was something I always wanted to do and Canada as well.

So, I have this thing about eulogies. I’ve always thought about it in that way and then being around the people at Inceed, it’s just inspired me to try to be more positive. The people here, their energy and positivity, I look at that and that’s just something I try to emulate.

I have endeavored to change that outlook towards people for probably the past five years. Especially in this job and just seeing how people interact, sacrificing comfortable to get to know someone or have someone get to know you, and then have everything connect. Just building relationships in general, I think it’s worth the sacrifice and I think it’s worth the time and so that’s something that’s changed.

I work in the Tulsa, OK branch. It’s the coolest branch, for sure. I would describe this branch as tenaciously relaxed. I’ve been so proud of our come back after the pandemic of 2020. Everyone really just lit it up and went after it. It’s been awesome to see that.

">
The last place I volunteered at is Make-A-Wish. Their events are always really cool. I also like to get involved in homeless outreaches and stuff like that.

So, anything where I’m working with kids who are terminally ill. It just means a lot to me. They’re so innocent.

Volunteering has really helped me understand and empathize with different people in different situation and circumstances. It’s actually changed me a bit and helped me see things differently

Well, I can clog. Yeah.

And I square danced in high school.

Before Inceed, I was a construction worker. I was really just looking to pay my bills but I started feeling like there was more out there for me.

During the interview process at Inceed, I only met a few people. It wasn’t until I started training and I got to really be around people in my branch, started seeing everyone just collaborating. That’s when I was like, these are my peeps.
