I grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma, a hometown I would describe as friendly, welcoming, and truly homey. My dad had a strong influence on me growing up and taught me the importance of being kind, curious, and thoughtful. One of the most meaningful lessons I learned was the value of family and knowing they will always be there for you. I attended the University of Oklahoma, where I studied Communication with a minor in Health and Exercise Science, and I was also a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.
