Hi!! I was born in California, spent a couple years in small town Illinois & was primarily raised in Wichita, Kansas which is what I call my ‘hometown’ – military kid! 😊
The person who inspired me the most throughout my childhood was my mom. Through every hardship or every trying moment, she was reminding me of the positive impact this would have on me later & cheering me on to the finish line to make sure I was giving 110% no matter what!
One of the greatest lessons I learned throughout my childhood is that there’s not an option but to work for everything you want & sometimes, getting what you want comes with mistakes or failures. But guess what – that’s okay, that’s how we all learn & grow, so make the most of the experience.
I attended Oklahoma State University [go pokes!], where I studied both Nutritional Sciences & Applied Exercise Science. At OSU, I spent most of my time actively involved in my sorority, Alpha Xi Delta, where I served on the membership team and then as Vice President of Membership for 2 years.
