I grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma… well, really in the town of Moore (and yes, I’ve been in my fair share of tornadoes). My hometown is a great community where people help people and truly care about others. I will always be proud of where I grew up and the resilience of the residents there.
My parents have truly been the most influential people in my life, teaching me that hard work and honesty will always take me far. If I have a bad day, a good day, or just a Tuesday afternoon, they will always be the first people I turn to.
I attended the University of Oklahoma and really thought I might be the next big news broadcaster or weather girl, but after many twists and turns in life, I ended up graduating at the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Public Relations and Journalism.
