I grew up and still live in Houston, Texas, where most of my family lives. I would describe Houston as a big city that feels familiar in many ways, with lots of diversity. There are so many opportunities to meet new people, but the sense of community makes everything, and everyone feel familiar in a way.
Growing up I’ve always been influenced by my family the most. There were many things that I’ve had to figure out on my own, but it has always been with the encouragement and support of my family. Their support has always led me to be more confident in my abilities and to seek out and work hard for what I want.
I attended the University of Houston (Go Coogs!!) where I studied Psychology. I spent my time at UH studying human nature; learning how to better understand others and how I can make a positive impact through that understanding.
