I grew up in Flower Mound, TX. I lived there all my life, and I would describe it as… well, it used to be very rural. But now it’s so populated and everyone actually knows where it is.
But growing up in Flower Mound, I think I was most influenced by my parents. I was the only child, so they had the ability to pour into me fully and solely, so I was very lucky to have them around. They still influence me to this day. I really learned that everything happens for a reason. I always find myself looking back and being thankful for things not working out the way I wanted. You’re right where you’re meant to be.
I went to the University of Oklahoma, and I studied Communications. I was involved in the Communication Honors Society and also Crimson Wishes, which is a group we created that benefits Make-a-Wish Oklahoma. We worked together to raise money on campus, we did all sorts of fundraisers, then we’d donate all our profits to Make-a-Wish Oklahoma.
